About Us

History of HSL

The Hand Stretched Out Love (HSL) Charity Project was founded from a deep compassion for vulnerable individuals who, for various reasons, are unable to meet their basic needs. From a young age, I felt a strong desire to support those around me who were struggling. Even without my parents’ knowledge, I would give away my clothes, shoes, food, and any resources I had to help others. The joy and fulfillment I felt from bringing comfort to someone in need shaped a lifelong commitment to acts of kindness. As I grew older, this passion became more intentional. In 2018, I began supporting individuals facing financial, medical, educational, and general welfare challenges, including women, children, teenagers, and the elderly. This effort continued to grow organically until 2021, when we decided to formalize the initiative to broaden our impact. In 2022, the Hand Stretched Out Love Foundation was officially registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). Since then, we have carried out multiple community outreach programs focused primarily on supporting and feeding vulnerable communities. Our guiding belief is that humanity is defined by our willingness to care for one another, and that through collective compassion, we can build a better and more equitable future for all.
